MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY FESTIVE SEASON OR HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ONE AND ALL

Entries close on June 22nd. Competition details and Conditions of Entry are in Vol 20 No 5. All you have to do is make a block measuring 6 1/2in square from raw edge to raw edge using any combination of bright pink, purple and green fabrics. After we've picked the eight lucky winners the AP&Q team are using the blocks to make quilts for charity/charities, so they will be going to a good cause.
Floods in Queensland and Holidays
Hi everyone,
I had a wonderful restful two weeks off work over Christmas and the New Year, now it's back to the grindstone!
I feel so sad for the people in Queensland who are suffering from the torrential rain and flooding, I cannot imagine what it must be like going back to find your homes and businesses a sodden mess; treasured items and stock ruined; and jobs lost due to the damage. It must be an awful struggle cleaning it up, and trying to get your life back on track. Our thoughts and best wishes are with you all.
