Don't forget to send in your blocks.

Have you sent in your entries for the chance to win a gorgeous bundle of fabric from Leutenegger?
Entries close on June 22nd. Competition details and Conditions of Entry are in Vol 20 No 5. All you have to do is make a block measuring 6 1/2in square from raw edge to raw edge using any combination of bright pink, purple and green fabrics. After we've picked the eight lucky winners the AP&Q team are using the blocks to make quilts for charity/charities, so they will be going to a good cause.
These photos show some of the amazing entries we've received so far, judging the best is going to be a difficult task.

I need to ask you ladies (and gents) a favour. I'm going to the UK for a holiday and hope to find as many patchwork shops and quilt shows/exhibitions as possible while I'm over there. If you have any favourites or know of places not to miss, that will be open/on during July and August, please let me know as soon as possible so I can add them to my list.

I'm already planning to visit the V&A museum, the American museum in Bath, Liberty, Shakut (sells Liberty fabrics too), Birmingham quilt show and visit Bromley Quilters; but I'm sure there are many other MUST SEE places and things to see and do.
Meanwhile I have to get some more magazines in the bag before I go!
