The changing seasons bring about a different sideline for our family, and I'm preparing another portable hand-pieced project. You may have seen some giftwrapping paper that's been inspired by vintage quilts...I've drafted the continuous-chain design to share with my patchwork friends and worked up a test block that's 3in x 6in finished size.
It's a scrappy project - the original was made with prints of any colour, mostly reds and dark-value ones. My could end up all reds and browns, with a dash of yellow, I'll see how the 200+ blocks come together.
