For those of you who'd like to make Chris Jurd's stunning table topper, French Circle, which appeared in Australian Country Craft and Decorating Volume 22 Number 10, please take note of the following amendment to the text:
On page 74 under Construction it currently reads:
"Make two more joined strip-sets in the same way then join them together, pressing the seams in one direction."
It should read:
"Make FIVE more joined strip-sets in the same way then join them together, pressing the seams in one direction."
For those of you who'd like to make Judith Steele's gorgeous Bargello Baby, which appeared in Australian Country Craft and Decorating Volume 22 Number 9, please take note of the updated diagram (pictured).
This replaces Diagram 1, the block layout, which appears on page 36.
We’re looking for houses decorated in traditional or modern country, vintage-chic, and French-provincial styles to use for backgrounds for projects and quilts we photograph for our stable of successful craft magazines.
If you live within Sydney’s Hills District (Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, Bella Vista, Kellyville, Beaumont Hills, Glen Brook, Pennant Hills, Carlingford etc) and think your home might have what it takes, send a few snapshots to nmacdonald@expresspublications.com.au
Bev Tully's gorgeous yellow blanket embroidered with Australian native flowers appeared on page 16 of Australian Country Craft and Decorating Volume 22 No 7.
Most unfortunately, the full size embroidery design was left off the pattern sheet!
If you'd like to make Bright and Beautiful and require a copy of the missing pattern, please email me at nmacdonald@expresspublications.com.au with your name and postal address, and I'll send you a copy asap.
