HANDMADE FLOWER INSPIRATION

As the editor of a creative magazine I am constantly exposed to inspiring people, beautiful photos and unique projects. I am so thankful to be in a creative industry where I am surrounded by talented people on a daily basis! But every now and then a particular technique or style of scrapbooking will stand out from the rest and grab my attention. For the past few months I’ve been obsessing over handmade fabric flowers and one of our talented Masters, Sarah Gladman has been creating the most fabulous florals and I just can’t get enough of them! Sarah was kind enough to share some of her amazing creations with me and I thought it only right to share them with you! By combining unique colours, patterns and textures Sarah’s handmade flowers are simply to die for. From denim and tulle to floral prints and corduroy, you can see there are no limits to which fabrics you can combine. And guess what? You can use these flowers for almost anything – not just in your scrapbooking. Sarah has been attaching a brooch pin to the back of them, which turns them into fantastic brooches, or better yet, why not attach a hair clip or a headband and create gorgeous fascinators for the races or a wedding?
