This selection of cards has come about due to an unexpected lay off where I found myself flailing for something to do between job interviews.
It has become a bit of a challenge to think up an idea and then create something tangible from that.
I hope you will offer some tips and critiques to help me improve on this.
Please note that I have had to reduce the quality of the pictures to upload them.
Cheers
Sharron
I was inspired by the Christmas Project in Vol 17, No 9 on page 14. As Halloween is fast approaching, I adapted the pattern and used blacks and oranges. The trick or treaters will be suprised with their goodies.
I used Core'dination Wicker Chair whitewash and Cuttlebug Boo to you embossing folder to create the details.
Here are some cards that I have made using my own handmade paper.
Papermaking has been one of my favourite hobbies ever since I was a young kid. There's something very relaxing about the process - tearing up sheets of scrap paper, soaking, blending into a pulp and finally creating a fresh sheet.
The resulting paper has a very earthy texture with flecks of colour throughout. Each batch of paper is different, which makes the process quite fun! Possibly my favourite part of papermaking is the environmental aspect - everything is recycled, and no extra chemicals are added.
