Over three days, more than 700 visitors stopped by Wonga Park in Victoria to admire all the stunning quilts at the Quilts in the Barn exhibition. The featured artists for this year were Virginia Enright and Corliss Searcey of Threadbear Quilts in Castlemaine, who did a great trade over the weekend.
Every morning there were queues of excited stitchers waiting to get in, and they weren’t disappointed! There was a range of stunning creations on show, including appliquéd and pieced quilts in every size, from a variety of talented quilters who reside in Victoria – there was simply something for every patchwork fanatic. And the kids weren’t forgotten either; they were entertained by the alpacas in the paddock, and many enjoyed exploring the gardens which were open for viewing.
