Heywood Fitzroy River Quilters
Description
The Fitzroy River, which flows alongside the town of Heywood, lends its name to this accomplished group of quilters, who’ve been stitching around the clock to prepare items to display at next weekend’s Wood Wine & Roses Festival. Come along and see their wonderful work, which can be found within the old school building in the centre of the village green. There’s also wine and cheese tasting, a wood-chop event, lawn-mower racing and carnival rides for the kids.
