The Love quilt and Lightning MQueen
Description
Two different quilts designed for a child. The 'love' quilt has sequins applied to the love heart and to the border edge of the the love word The ditches of the borders have been sewn to puff out the quilt.
The lightning McQueen cot panel has been extended with other racing cars related fabric to bring it to the size of a single quilt and edged with checkered flag material.
Material Notes
Child's single bed quilt based around a centre Cot panel or other themed fabric panel and bordered with similar theme fabric. Hand sewn sequins and fabric bows added to provide a 3D contrast to the 'love' quilt. The love theme is continued with a pillow case edged with with ties.

Love the idea of using cot panels for a kids quilt. There really are some great ones out there.
