Scherenschnitte Quilt for Breast Cancer

With a cure for breast cancer still eluding us it remains as important as ever to support the organisations on the front line of research into this terrible disease and, of course, be ever mindful of those waging their own personal battles behind the scenes. Here at AP&Q, we feel our Scherenschnitte quilt embodies all the positive aspects that come out of this otherwise negative subject – compassion, collaboration and group action – and we’re keen for our message to be out there in the community. So we’re handing the baton over to you! We want our gorgeous quilt to be part of a wonderful fundraising project that brings greater awareness to the cause and boosts the funds of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (“NBCF”) so it can continue its good work.

If you are a member of a quilting group or a group that raises money – or plans to – for the NBCF, you have the opportunity to be given this quilt to use as a prize or as a means of raising money.

For this opportunity, let us know in 100 words or less how you would market the quilt for the NBCF- be creative as possible with your marketing to ensure maximum publicity and money raised! So put your thinking caps on and enter. The group judged to have the most creative and original ideas to raise money for the NBCF will take the prize! Let’s do all we can to help!
