The competition commences 21 MARCH 2012 and closes last mail 4 MAY 2012. 20 shortlist entrants in the Traditional Layout category and 20 shortlist entrants in the Digi Layout category will be chosen to be included in a shortlist for each category by a panel appointed by Scrapbooking Memories magazine at 50 Silverwater Road, Silverwater NSW 2128 at 4pm on 7 MAY 2012. The panel’s decision on the shortlist is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entrants on the Traditional Layout category shortlist will then be requested to post their physical traditional projects to SCRAP YOURSELF COMPETITION, Scrapbooking Memories, 50 Silverwater Rd, SILVERWATER NSW 2128 before June 1, 2012 to be displayed at the Australasian Scrapbook & Papercraft Convention & Expo in Brisbane between the 9 to 11 June 2012. Entrants on the Digi Layout category shortlist will then be requested email the high-resolution (300dpi) image of their digi project before June 1, 2012 to be displayed on a projector at the Australasian Scrapbook & Papercraft Convention & Expo in Brisbane between the 9 to 11 June 2012.The public will vote on their favourite layout in each category. The winner for each category will be determined by which shortlist entrant receives the most votes. The 2nd place winners for each category will be determined by which shortlist entrant receives the 2nd most votes. This competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. There will be one winner in each category and one 2nd place winner in each category. The total prize value is worth approximately $800.00. Individual prizes are worth $ 250.00 for each winners prize,
$ 150.00 for each 2nd place prizes. The prize value is subject to change after printing. The promoter is Express Publications Pty Limited, 2 Stanley Street, Silverwater NSW 2128 (02) 9741 3800. Express will pay for the delivery costs of the prize to the winner and deliver the prize to the winner. Express will not pay for any other costs associated with the prize. Entry forms submitted will not be returned to the entrants. By entering the competition you consent to Express reproducing and publishing in whole or part throughout the world your photograph which you provided to us on entering the competition and if chosen for the shortlist your high-res photograph and which we may use in all media formats including print, electronic or any other publishing medium including being published at the Australasian Scrapbook & Papercraft Convention & Expo. Entrants agree and acknowledge that by entering the competition they consent to any activity the performance of which would otherwise infringe their moral rights by Express.
