 Re: Good Morning girls
Thank you for rattling the cage Linda. Here's hoping for better things in the future. I tried to log in under the name I entered weeks and weeks ago, but zip. Still I am here under my old one, and hope to see more and more old faces coming back, as well as meet the new gals.

Apology accepted Norma and I have removed my post also. It was good to sort all this out on the phone and not in here.

 Re: Good Morning girls
Checking in... getting another forum up and running so we can compare products and new things that come on the market as well as have swaps and not have to jump hurdles to do any of that. Give me a week or so to get the new one running nicely, allowing photo uploads etc. It is a huge learning curve but very interesting. I have found a site that is free, and will only start putting ads in if I allow it, and is very secure. So I will not have to move it to the safe haven of my own website... which is excellent. I would love to see what Bec is up up to nowadays, as well as others that design patterns. Quite a few aren't there, that used to come on here and haven't been seen for eons?

 Re: Good Morning girls
Must give Express a call.. strange we still can't put images up. I just think they don't realise what a huge marketing thing this could be for their mags!

You can actually post pictures on any thread under the NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENT tab. They probably think this is enough. If you want to post pictures say of the round robin just start a new thread in there called PICTURES OF ROBIN ROBYN of something similar.

 Re: Good Morning girls
Had a look at the news and announcements thread, there's no option to start a new thread Or maybe I am missing it......

 Re: Good Morning girls
Hey there ladies, what was 'the old method'? I don't know if I ever tried back then. And what's this photobucket thingie? I run Picasa, does anyone know if I can post piccies from that program?

 Re: Good Morning girls
Not sure about Picasa. I posted a picture using the 'browse and add' function but it is only on threads in the News & Announcements section. I guess if we started our own thread there we could post our swap pictures.

 Re: Good Morning girls
Good morning ladies, I hope you are all high and dry as this torrential rain continues to dampen our spirits. Am thinking of you especially, Norma, as I know you have a creek to negotiate and it cuts you off from civilization at times. Yesterday afternoon was a great sewing opportunity and I made the absolute most of it, couldn't do much else. We had been to Goulburn earlier in the week and are so damn glad not to have been caught Back to the machine again this afternoon. Cheers to all. Mary B

 Re: Good Morning girls
It's hard to imagine so much rain for so long. Here it continues to be fine and sunny and heading up to 39 degrees this coming week.

 Re: Good Morning girls
We stayed home and didn't go to a market today as we didn't know how bad the rain would get here. Then we realised just now that the Wimmera Field Days are today as well, so just as well we stayed here. More importantly, if anyone wants a DVD of tutorials of the Accuquilt Cutters, just send me a pm, and I will post you one for free. It shows how to get the most out of your cutter, the mats and a few other handy hints.

 Re: Good Morning girls
Good morning my Friends of the Needle and Thread,
So far so good eh. We are still up and running. Commiserations Linda on the dreadful heat you are experiencing. I hate, hate, hate heat and hope you get some relief soon.
The rain has stopped here for the moment but we are told there is more to come. The local paper yesterday had pages and pages of flood damaged property etc. in and around the district and, of course, Wagga was declared a disaster area last night. Granddaughter came home last weekend from Yanco Ag. School for mid-term break and hasn't been able to go back. The school buses won't be returning before next Monday, so things are really desperate over there too.
Are you safe Tarlee and Norma? Thinking of you.

 Re: Good Morning girls
The heat has been awful here but nothing compared to the awful floods. I can't imagine being told you have to leave and to know when you come back your house and contents will have been flooded We are having a reprieve heatwise today, only about 32 but back up to 40 on the weekend
