 Friendship Star Block Swap
Hello, everyone,
Over on the General Craft thread under Round Robin, you will find a new swap that we are signing up for now. It is running similarly to the previous one which was a Nextdoor Neighbour Block swap between four of us. Because we were so few in number, we made two blocks for each person, no time limit was set so there was no pressure and it was a lot of fun.
I don't know how to transfer stuff between threads, or even if it can be done, so I thought it might be an idea to mention it here in case there are others out there who would like to join. So, if that's you please pop in and have a look.

Ok 9" friendship star it is , post what colours you would like ,anyone else want to join in ? http://www.quilt.com/BlockOfTheMonth/19 ... Sizes.html me first this time MONIKA=cream background and blue stars MARY=. Make mine scrappy, as scrappy as you like, your favourite colours. Re: Friendship Star Block Swap
I'm in too please.
I'd like black homespun for the background and the rest as scrappy as possible. Use up all those bits that were too good to throw away but too small to use for anything...come on, you know you have them!
How often do we have to do a block? I have to be careful not to over commit myself this year. As well as my regular baby sitting days I have a son and a daughter getting married this year...an engagement party in a few weeks, hen's nights, kitchen teas....I need a rest!

 Re: Friendship Star Block Swap
How about 1 set each 2 weeks,(if you would prefer a month let me know) we will give it till the end of the month, in case there are some more takers though. Then I will do a draw and give you the order to send out the blocks.

 Re: Friendship Star Block Swap
Already I need to get a move on. It was 38 degrees here today and I feel very uninspired to do anything. I am waterlogged from drinking so much water.

 Re: Friendship Star Block Swap
Hi Linda,
I got your PM OK and apologise for not replying here. We have been having mini power outages on and off all week, due I guess to the big wet. I come, I read and then down we go again, so decided to stay off-line for a little while. Now to the Friendship Block: I think cream would probably be nice and I don't mind if they are both the same or different, as you say, just use up some of those little scraps.
Cheers, Mary B
