Yes, I am in. I haven't done one before so I suppose the size would be about 8" x 8"? Or around about that?

 Re: Dish cloth swap
So it's to be about 8 x 8? I have some Cleckheaton "Sugar'n'Cream" with a dishcloth pattern on the label....variegated pink or blue...so at least my partner gets a choice

 Re: Dish cloth swap
Cotton or linen thread , should be used for the dish cloth , becaues they need to be absorbant. It would be great if youcould join in Margarita.
Linda , the cloth I made is 7"x 7", if you use any of the googled patterns , thats the size they turn out.
I will put the list out tomorrow morning , beofre I go to Patchwork.

 Re: Dish cloth swap
Good morning ladies,
I tried one of the pretty ones yesterday, one with a butterfly, and it was SMALL. Now I'm having a go at the one from the YouTube downloaded by verypinkknits, knitted on the diagonal and its looking good. I like this one because I will be able to increase it to a size I like before I start to decrease. Will report back.

 Re: Dish cloth swap
I finished my first dish cloth yesterday and have started on a second. The pattern is so quick and easy and looks really nice. I think its the one I'll go for, for the swap.

 Re: Dish cloth swap
Marg, I've had it squirrelled away since knitted and crochet suits were in fashion There is oodles and oodles of the stuff so please don't buy any. The only thing is it is 3 ply and I think 4 ply might be the go for dish cloths. I'm using 4mm needles (I think that's 8's) and I'm really pleased with how it worked out. I'll drop some around to you later today if you like. Mary
