There are some fantastic projects designed to keep you busy throughout the summer months. For the littlies starting pre-school or big school, Pam Evans has embroidered backpacks that will make them feel extra special. Bring the outdoors in with a framed gumnuts picture by Jane Grove. Flowers are also on the mind of Caroline Sharkey, who creates a bed sham to give the bedroom a lift, while Janny Primrose uses pansies to decorate a pretty supper cloth. Elaine Sale is also thinking about the great outdoors with a picture of an orange-bellied parrot in all his glory.
Angela Delli shows how a handbag can be practical as well as pretty with some embroidery. Read the delightful story of Elaine Booker’s sewing group and the unique quilt they have created. Diana Eaton has created a wall-hanging with an unusual combination of smocking and Lickety-splits in blue that will cover a dull wall in your home to perfection.
Lastly Valentine’s Day is on the way and Melanie Arnold has a delightful wall-hanging for your special beau.
